Join us in Springfield for a spooky 3-day weekend of hunting fun!
City Sniffers Rat Hunt Club, a division of City Sniffers Dog Sports LLC, will host a 3-day, 3-ring Happy Ratters trial on October 23-25, 2026, at our facility in downtown Springfield, Illinois. Join us for our third Howl-o-ween themed trial: we'll celebrate with a costume contest, special treats for dogs & handlers and more! Lots of opportunity for titles/move-ups with four Standard runs offered, as well as a variety of games...
*NEW*: Double Dutch (the pairs/teams game) will be offered on Friday & Sunday, played in the same ring as the other game listed in the schedule chart. Note, however, that a dog can only enter a maximum of six runs per day, so if you enter Double Dutch you may have to forego one of the other classes that day...
Special awards on tap: Judge's Choice, Perfect Sniff Day, Fastest Hunt, Sloth Award ("Phew - just in time!), Bridge & Burrow Bonus (most B&Bs performed in one run), other new awards TBA!
